Bloody senseless isn't it? Some of the US Kopites have given them the go ahead, as if they speak for an entire nation of people, 98% of which don't give a flying **** about Liverpool Football Club. I'll be interested to see what's said about this. It may not seem like a big deal (obviously it doesn't to those eejits) but a lot of Americans are very proud of their flag. Naturally sensible people will be sensible about it, but the hicks (no pun intended) in some parts aren't going to be interested in the explanation, they're going to see people burning their flag.

I saw a protestor against BP - in the gulf states stood on top of a flag on the floor - on a Union Jack... and I was fuming... as BP is not this country and its disrespectful to be doing that considering BP is 40% American anyway (it's actually BP-Amoco ... up until 2008 when that name was phased out), and the fact in the last week we've had 4 killed in Afghanistan.


So if you're fuming mate at seeing that... happening outside Anfield just know - they're just BLERTS.

I was just about to say. I would absolutely love if someone got an address for a head honcho at Standard Chartered, and sent them this photo.

Sure they'd be delighted at paying £80m in the middle of a recession just so weeks later their logo could be pictured burning an American flag.
