Hey Kurt you big sausage, what route did you take up Snowdon the other week ?
me and some chums are thinking of going next week
The miners track....lovely walk mate, it takes you past the old copper mine buildings and three huge lakes too, I wanna do the Pyg track next which is basically above the miners track, for both of these you need to get to a place called pen-y-pass where there is a car park and cafe and this is the start point for both of these tracks. I have gone up the LLanberis track before which kinda runs paralell to the train track but this was gruelling and tedious to be honest. Have you been before ?
yes mate but not for a while, we were probably gonna do the LLanberis TBH, thought it sounded like the most straightforward
I would say the pyg track is more straight forward to be honest.... the LLanberis walk is longer and gruelling. All ways lead to the top though so enjoy , advise you to get there as early as poss though, i got there at 7.30 am a couple of weeks back and the car parks were all full.
