Went to see Robbie Williams last night (Christmas present for wife), glad I went cos Erasure were great, brought back memories from sixth form, and I even have to admit, Williams has gone up in my estimation.
We are now relaxing at a spa hotel in beautiful mid-Norfolk, a Christmas present from the kids. Missus linked her phone to speakers, which are great, playing in private sauna/steam room, but I have only just managed to persuade her to stop playing Robbie Williams songs and let me have a go. Now playing She Bangs the Drums while she gets ready for tea.
 
I had a very odd conversation with a borderline racist in the gym yesterday. I know him vaguely from when I used to go here regularly and he was asking me what I was up to these days.

I said I'm in London and have been for a while, and his eyes lit up with excitement "Aaaarrrr hahahaha unlucky lad!!!" I was a bit confused so I just said I quite like it down there.

He couldn't understand it and went on to explain how he had a job offer in London but rejected it, then started banging on about immigrants and that you "never see any white people" in London. I thought 'here we go' and he proceeded to rant about the Grenfell tower fire, how it was full of immigrants etc. terrorists and all Muslims. It got quite embarrassing so I had to speak up but in a way that wouldn't rile him, as I just couldn't be arsed with that. He's definitely a S*n reader judging by his ill informed views. I find it a bit bizarre that you still come accross people like that so publicly open about their slightly extreme views.

Things like this get right on my tits.... it's 2017 ffs.... why do people who go the gym feel they have to let everybody else know about it ??

Came into work to do some overtime. In reality I'm just going to spend my time mucking around as I'm starting a new job in a week and there's no way for my current employers to find out about my lack of productivity for the day, in truth they owe me at least ten hours from my time here....
