Car insurance renewal day. Woo.
£450 a year down from £700. Not bad.
Looks like I might have to claim on it within the first week though FFS, which makes me feel like a fraudster.
*adds protected NCD on to policy*
Speaking of which, does anyone know how protected no claims works? I've got 8 years no claims, so say if I claimed on my insurance next week would I still have 9 years no claims for next year? Probably a daft question, but fortunately I've never had to claim on insurance until maybe now.
Just added my dad on to the policy and it dropped by £80. Waaahhhheeeeyyyy!
You have 8 years NC and its £450 a year??? What do you drive?
£380 now after I added my dad. I drive a 1.6 Focus but I've collected 9 points (oops), 3 of which will expire in a couple of months.
Got a quote on line for £600 last month, Rang up a week ago to renew and they said they wanted £900, Told them about the previous price so I gave them the ref number and they agreed to match it
Sent me a letter today to say they had made a mistake and the new price is £400
Beauts make it up as they go along
I looked on Confused.com for a mate a few months ago . The price range went from £85 a year to £1200. Same car, same cover, different companies
