Brendan rodgers??!! Maybe all a Myth!

Hi everyone been using some of the other forums but only jist found this 1 an this is by far the best out there!!1

i was sitting watching MOTD last night an was pi**ing myself watching the redsh*te and then it dawned on me that their manager talks so mutch crap its untrue. I looked at his previous clubs an apart from 2 seasons at swansea he been sackedfrom all his other jobs nameley watford an reading, an when you look at his job at swansea he took over a team that roberto martinez had built an moulded previously so he only had limited work to do.

However when you hear him talk he speaks with a tone of someone who has won title after title that no-one should doubt!! Liverpool have took a massive gamble on this lad an there is very little evidence to back him up. he spoke about not spending big in transfer market after paying 15 million on joe allen. I can honestly see a real bottom half struggle this year for them even maybe flirting with bottom 5 -6 they so average its untrue an i can see a slip from were they were last year.

Any views?
 
To be fair, if Suarez hadn't been doing his best Stuart Barlow impression the result would've been different. Then again, that makes it even funnier

I truly hope you're right, but let's not gloat too much after one game. We're falling into the same trap as all the idiotic Liverpool fans on last night's phone ins if we do that.

That isn't a Stuart Barlow impression, that's Suarez, he does it every week. It's a bit like them still claiming there not a mid table club, it's a false position. When you finished 6th, 7th & 8th for the last 3 years it's time to accept you are.

If WBA had took the chances it would of been 6 or 7, that's the only thing which would of been different. I watched the whole game and they gave our neighbours a good hiding, it was embarassing.
 
He heading for a fall, he got a declining Gerrard on his head, Joe Allan looks ok but wont solve their problems, they have hired Brendon cos he was cheaper but the scary fact is he inexperience.
 
Last time I checked, Rodgers has NOTHING to do with Everton.

That result was just what Rodgers didn't need, I've already said earlier in the other thread that there are players/coaches at that club that don't buy into Rodgers and his staff's philosophy and that debacle yesterday will just add fuel to their fire.

It's very early days but the Europa Awayer they looked pretty poor as they did second half yesterday and borini looks a bit lightweight & didn't 'look' like he'll be pulling up any tress (certainly just yet) to me but it's on players like him & Allen that Rodgers will be judged on as they are clearly seen as 'his men' and I know some of those who aren't 'Rodgers converts' yet aren't too impressed with Borini so far.

I'm sure they'll absolutely spank Hearts but city and Arsenal will hopefully be a different prospect

Glad to hear it, hopefully KiNg KenNi will be back again soon. Doubt they'll finish any lower than 8th though.
 
Well said about Swansea being Martinez work.

I suspect Rodgers is a victim of his own press, when we went to Swansea and give 'em a hiding he couldn't/wouldn't change and their season started to arse.

Similar post match interview yesterday - the unruffled, c'est la vie attitude won't wash with the mutants, cries of "Rafael" will split them in half.

I hate them and happily gloat over any problems they have - I lived through their glory years - those that didn't have no idea how sh1tty those times were.

Long overdue Karma.
