They persisted for a bit though, it was a solid few minutes of play when they did it.
Yeah, I was watching it unfold as I thought it was a very strange and a random thing to do. The ball was either in play or Brentford took a very quick throw in, as soon as it went out for more than 5 seconds Tarkowski was shown on screen hurrying O'Brien to switch back, which tells me it wasn't planned and it was just a few minutes period in the game where the ball was in play constantly. Which is what was good about the game in general, a rarity in modern football that there were no unnecessary lengthy or even moderately lengthy stoppages. It was a good game of football.
