I used to drive through London to Brentford every morning to load my van just a stone's throw from the ground. Perhaps I could revisit the place and throw stones at the ref if he officiates like a pillock.

That low Patterson cross for Danjuma's goal showed that it doesn't only have to be lump it onto the centre forward's bonce. That said, Young is not the right man for set pieces as he's been woeful. McNeil or Garner for me.
Been disgraceful to be honest. Given he's not a good player, he must have been brought in for his unbelievable professionalism yet he's not inspired us in any way on the field.

His floated crosses directly to the goalkeeper are atrocious, yet either he's been told he takes all set pieces no matter what, or the entire rest of the side is too scared to approach him and suggest a different approach.

Garner was known as a set piece expert at Forest, McNeil can put a cross in, and hopefully Harrison will be allowed a chance to take some.

Young is our worst left back, he shouldn't have been signed and needs to be dropped immediately.

Last week we couldn't keep hold of the ball when we eventually did get it. We can't afford to do the same today, we need to be more clinical when in possession and on the counter. Set pieces and corners haven't been good enough, more often than not hitting their first man. Very frustrating as they should offer a good chance of a goal, considering the height in the team. If, and it's a big if, we take our chances we can win this.

I'm looking forward to another Blue Chrimbo. I love how Blue Bill and our brave lionhearts embrace the spirit of Christmas. Nothing stirs an Evertonian's heart more than seeing our fearless lads donning blue pixie, elf and fairy outfits, and visiting various Merseyside hospices and orphanages and borstals, spreading Yuletide cheer. I wonder what the Blue Chrimbo panto will be this year? I'm hoping Bill plumps for a good old fashioned British themed play. I genuinely feel that his choosing of 'The Mikado' a few of years back was a bad move...too foreign. Thank heavens for Brexit!

They are one of the best at set piece routines in the league, they seem to have about 20 different ones to select from.
There's a lot to admire about them all round to be honest. They squeeze 100% out of the resources they have available. On paper their side looks no better than ours but they were unbeaten in 12 games before going to St James' and regularly bloody the nose of the big teams.
