Great win against an under par Brentford today. Maybe I was seeing things but did Myko beat a man on the outside, get to the byline and put a dangerous cross in? More of that please. Gave MOTM to Doucs not for skill, but for sheer effort and his will to win. UTFT.

This is the Saturday evening in a parallel universe where you've done the ITV7, your first 6 have come in and do you remember that episode of Bottom where tight mouth Larry gives them a tip for Sad Ken in the 3,30 at Chepstow?
Sad Ken the 3 legged mule has romped by 10 lengths at 200-1.
Mind I've just had a good celebratory drink so the analogy might need some work.

Points to take away:

1. Dyche ways of relentless aggression finally pays off. We did the same against Arsenal but they are just heads above us.

2. Liking Branthwaite's performance today stepping in and won many balls.

3. Garner and Doucoure for non stop pressing.

4. Beto can only get better and DCL taking time recovering his old form.

Overall season starting to look bright . UTFT
Positive performance today, with that line up I didn`t see that coming and judging by comments before kick off not many were, Dyche does bring that on himself with the type of performances against Arsenal...

All credit to Dyche, we attacked and we scored goals against a very good side. Dyche needs to stick with this mentality, we don`t ever want to see what we saw against Arsenal again!

If we play like that week in week out I might change my opinion which I base on what we have seen so far since February.

Strange isn't it? Aside from the odd 4-0 defeat pretty sure it's only 3 away defeats under Dyche in about 12 games. Yet the home run has been wretched for nearly as long.

Considering how limited the counter attacks usually are, DCL endlessly injured and going a long time without keeping a clean sheet on the road it's quite an odd stat unless people got theories.

Probably the main reason to be confident of staying up. Dyche showing month after month he can get better results on the road than promoted teams or Wolves or Bournemouth will get.

The swamp up next on the road....

well, well,well...now that was a scoreline I did not expect. Yes, I presaged a result with a GD of 2 but, from Everton's perspective, there was a minus sign in front of that numeral.
Well done to our brave lads...we've rocketed up the ladder.
