Like with Brighton last year, it shows that these players can actually play football, and more than that to a decent standard.

The issue is that it simply hasn’t happened enough. Win the next two home games, and I think things will steady themselves on and off the pitch.

A number 9 that gives us balance/focal point (like Brighton last year), and a fit McNeil on one wing and Harrison on the other with Garner in the middle and we could be ok.

Could do with a couple in Jan too.

Any injuries to a few key players, in key positions, and things could be ropey. However, I do sincerely doubt there’ll be much or any business in January.

Our finances are too precarious, so unless it’s vital or a real bargain I suspect it is what it is. But, I don’t think it’s overly necessary either if I'm honest.

Apart from Aston Villa and Arsenal, two great teams, which teams have truly outplayed us? For me, none; in fact, we’ve been the better team in most.

So if we can get the focal point up front as you mention, and others contribute with goals, we should be fine. It won't be brilliant, but we should be easily safe.

a long term thing tho we need to be good at home to

Am I the only person who only reads the pre match comments after we win I’ve missed all the negativity over the past months 😂

I like what Beto offered but man, Dom is just different isn't he? What I would give to have had him fit all the time these past years.

Went to watch my local team, Cheltenham Town at 3pm. Lost again 3-0 to make it 8 defeats from 9 games and 0 goals scored in the league all season.

So piled into the pub after to watch my beloved blues and they turned my day around with a great win 💙

Not sure what i did in a previous life as these two teams really put me through it most weeks but i’ll enjoy this evenings win
