Fed up with Gueye, Onana, and Doucouré. Time to try something different... and still lose. COYB!

Another chance to get that sinking feeling this Saturday. Hey, maybe we'll score a goal, but I won't hold my breath. Should be a comfy home win. Not sure where we will find the quality or enthusiasm to cause many problems with that shower of a squad. Booo

A lot of pressure on Dyche and I am praying we don't have more "noise" off the pitch and we can just concentrate on winning games.

Brentford tend to set up in a attacking 4-3-3 and with the unfortunate injury of Rico Henry, we should take advantage on the width of how narrow their set up is.

I think we will be pretty much full strength with Harrison back training last week and Coleman a few weeks away. The options of DCL and Beto will be so tempting to play up front together but perhaps away from home and the pressure for points, I would leave them for Luton next week.

Against Arsenal, our midfield looked state and pedestrian so I would encourage Dyche to bring Garner back into the fold ASAP plus look at dropping the guff of Doucoure and Onana.

Defensively, we looked better but having Ashley Young still starting given the poor poor start and horrific set-pieces, I would like him dropped.

4-2-3-1

Pickford
Patterson - Tarkowski - Branthwaite - Mykolenko
Gueye - Garner
Harrison - McNeil - Danjuma
DCL

I think that 3 of Harrison, McNeil and Danjuma would support DCL in pressure and pressing plus capable of getting a goal plus have that additional space to counter effectively.

Dyche HAS to shake up that team and no more same old, same old. He has to show our fan base that he CAN manage and he CAN tactically adapt to WIN GAMES.

If it's the same midfield v Arsenal and same subs - the fanbase is getting restless and bored with this stale football which provides no to little points.

We need a BIG result and we are due a win so I am going with 1-3 win for the Blues
With Harrison still not starting fit, I think Doucoure will come back in to that midfield:

Gueye - Garner
McNeil - Doucoure - Danjuma

Does anyone expect anything other than a defeat in this game?
No, but managing the expected loss is important. If we can lose these 'expected loss' games better (GD wise) than Burnley, Luton and Sheffield (in their equivalent fixtures), then this should result in a successful season (ie us not being relegated). I expect us and those 3 teams mentioned will all finish this season on around 15 points...GD will thus be crucial.
