If Siggurdsson or Gomes were available then I would tend to agree but Delph and Allan offer nothing in that more attacking role.

The solution isn't to boot the manager its to give him time to rebuild the squad and get rid of the likes of Iwobi and replacement him with a better option.

I'm not saying Allan/Delph in an attacking role. I'm saying have them sit.

I'm basically saying the way we've started the game but swap out Iwobi and put Doucoure there, with Delph/Allan deep.

There's no excusing Iwobi starting this game. It's a choice Benitez has to own now for good or ill.

Who knows mate maybe Doucoure aint gonna last the full game and needs Delph as the sub option.
