Our record against Brighton is one of our best in recent years.
Absorb and counter with pace is the way to beat them.
I think that works to our strengths.

McNeil was brilliant in that 5-1, he'll be a big miss. They also strangely refused to get anyone tracking Doucoure that day. Pretty sure for one of the goals he just wandered into the box and tapped a cross in without a Brighton player within even ten yards?!

Will have to watch the highlights of that match later tonight just to refresh as it remains one of the most positively bizarre games I've seen in recent years even by this clubs standards.

Frankly all those teams have better players than us.
If we want to beat Brighton we have to sit deep and defend and counter with precision. The only team theyve beaten in the bottom half this season are ManU and spurs. Teams that believe that 'bowing down' is below them.

Not much better. Nothing a decent summer won’t sort. Should be aiming to do these tomorrow.

Could be a late one and not wanting to alert Brighton. Was the same with Branthwaite earlier this season. Rumours on socials but nothing at the press conference and then he was out injured for a few weeks.

Hopefully Mangala has travelled if anyone saw them at the airport?
Anytime there's a rumour about an injury for Everton it's pretty much always true unfortunately. Be a big blow. Has done well and is a solid passer of the ball. Maybe if the rumour is true is why Moyes alluded to trying to bring in a central midfielder this month

That was my first thought, these eve-of-game rumours always seem to be true. Hope Garner isn’t rushed back, Moyes will love him I think.

One of our better grounds lately away wise, won 2 drew 2 of the last four trips down there, Moyes record v them 1-1-2 over the last four with west ham but beat them 3-1 last season away. Doesn't seem to matter the form of either team going into the game, away we just seem to match up well v them.

Play how we did v Spurs and we will cause them massive issues, can see a 3-1 here, Ndiaye and Lindstrom to have big games today, sneaky feeling O'Brien will get on the score sheet as well.
