In some ways, I'd actually consider this 'bigger' than the West Ham game as far as Silva is concerned.

Saturday was positive for the first time in ages - but the real acid test now is whether he can carry that into an away game against very beatable oppposition. If he continues to fail on the road against this type of oppo then surely he's proving that he can't do the job.

Brighton has played far better football than WH has done this season. WH has been lucky, while Brighton has not got what they deserve. This is therefore a bigger test for Silva. A win here will show that we are on the right path, while a loss will only show that the win against WH was just a one-off event.

To not win any away games out of Palace, Villa, Bournemouh & Burnley that has to change asap cant build any form or momentum if we're just going to keep dropping points every away game. Another must win game for Silva.

Fully expected to beat WH quite easily, expect this to be a lot harder. WH seem one of those teams who put effort in now and again, Brighton always work hard. It will come down to whether the same team and tactics will work against different opposition. I don’t expect us to be gifted the time and space we had on Saturday.

I lived and worked in Brighton years ago for a number of years and still have friends there. Upon chatting to them yesterday about the game and meeting up, I'm sure most know, there's no-where around to go drinking, but in terms of the match, they do play some good stuff but it is normally a 4-5-1 and they are worried about pace up top for the opposition. On this basis we just go as we were Saturday because I honestly believe (blinkered) that the play going forward last game would have beaten most and troubled all. No need for Marco to think any different. We will beat these Saturday playing same team and same way

These are kind of matches we simply have to win. The law of averages would say dictate b/c of our quality we should be able to win some of these winnable away matches.

However, we have been awful on our travels.

The heart says we win. The head says we will play a lot better than we have been. We will score. But it'll be a draw 1-1. 2-2 if big Yerry misses out

I would say the same thing I used to say this season before away game. Better not to predict anything. Just want to see same effort from minute one til 90+. Davies as captain, Schniderlin somwhere near northern coast...

Team selection is key. If Silva puts out the same team as Saturday we should be OK but I have a nasty feeling Sigurdsson and Delph will re-appear, which will send out completely the wrong message to players and fans alike.
Nobody who started the game on Saturday deserves to be dropped after such a convincing performance.
This is an excellent opportunity to show that we have a team based on merit and not on how much a player cost or is paid.
