Horrible game to watch. Was obviously too much to ask for Walcott to put two good games back to back. Gomes nailed on for a yellow card. All far too slow, predictable, no creativity at all. Davies looks out of his depth. No qualms about the defence, but we look awful out there. Pickford a liability for their goal.

It is all about that extra quality. The top level is brutal, we have so many nearly moments where we get the pass wrong and they break down the other end to go ahead.
