I think James Garner has gone off the boil a bit, we are more likely to have our backs up against it so Gana doing the dirty work with Onana's ability on the ball to help us transition and feed Doucoure and DCL.

We will be backs up against it which means we'll hoof all game and hope for the best - Garner's not off the boil, this playstyle suits no midfielder at all.

That said, we'll probably go with yours as we won't need a midfield anyway.

Hoofball wasn't out gameplan here last season against these. We are more likely to hoof when we dominate the ball, funnily enough, as we lack the quality to break stubborn teams down and resort to the long ball. Against a team who will look to dominate the ball, it will all be about exploiting space on transition.
