See the Original post. I did haggle. They came down from £40 to £36 when a new customer gets the same deal for £28. Thats a 30% drop for being a new customer over a standard renewal contract.Oh sorry, I meant haggle with Sly if you can't be arsed with the move over.

Seeing 50mb a second packages at about £25-30 a month there which is very decent and would be suitable for 99% of households.

Just gives me more ammo to go at them. I'll wait for their call. Chees for that link though. I'd been few a few but those offers are something else!Soz, like.
Aha, only skim read/didn't take it in mate. Honestly, if I do similar again save yourself a load of typing as edited aboveSee the Original post. Put your bloody glasses on ffs!I did haggle. If it had been a £1 or two out I would have held off and waited for their next in line to cancellations team to call but on this occasion they can poke their service up their smoker. I may even take the time to be really interested in a deal and waste some poor buggers time before declining their offer if they catch me when I'm doing nothing better.
Just changed my package with BT after shopping around and quoting other deals i now have 300mb broadband, so double the speed, for £32.99 pm, so £22 pm cheaper, with no price increase this year, which on my current deal was going to be an extra £4 pm, all without the hassle of switching.Paying £55 at the moment for BT 150mb. Can cut that in half and get double the speed with Virgin. So now begins the merry dance of negotiation between current provider and potential new provider. Broadband, phone contract and car insurance all up for renewal over the next 2 months. Alongside switching electric and gas suppliers. Like a 2nd job all this admin.
