Remember Howie getting all upset,over Luton Town when they had it ,he told the chairman (forgot his name) to sod off and start his own league playing on plastic.

However what Lukaku said was I want to arrive at a top club eventually. Don't allow the media to twist his words.

I went to the Napoli game. It was mainly Napoli stroking it around - but they looked only Half assed - in fact they played so badly the travelling Napoli fans stoned the players bus after the game - they got done with a couple of counter attacks.
I expect YBB will sit back and let us pass it around.

....think the Chairman was called Evans. Obnoxious bloke, ended up a Tory MP which probably isn't a surprise. Plastic isn't good but hopefully the surface is better now than in the Luton days.

Looking today it says that MJdS has replaced him. Certainly can't do any harm that the ref is familiar with most of our players and that our players will know what he likes and what he doesn't like.

I wonder if the ref will look around at the start and say "where's Hibbo"?

We won't win this game, English teams don't beat Swiss teams away. Young boys thrashed both liverpool and Spurs at home but lost in England. That and Wales struggled to beat a woeful Andorra side on a plastic pitch

Keep the score down and beat them at our place
