Leeds.

Burnley are a proper traditional club, founder members of the football league.

Leeds United didn't even exist until the 1910's the johnny come lately meffs.

Also there is less chance of Burnley becoming good eventually.

Leeds by far.

Burnley are harmless in the grand scheme of things whereas Leeds have potential to attract big outside investment.

We made the same mistake buzzing over little old harmless Bournemouth going down instead of Villa who then went on to finish above us and nab Digne.

I hate Leeds but I’m just completely ambivalent towards Burnley which kind of makes me think I’d rather they go down. They’re a club I just can’t be arsed about. Some ‘small’ clubs I like visiting and/or enjoy watching etc but Burnley just don’t bring a lot to the table.

Leeds. Nephew works at Burnley, otherwise I'd probably want them to go down...especially when some of their fans think it's a good idea to fly moronic, ignorant banners over the Etihad...however as it stands job prospects will be better for my nephew if Burnley stay up, so hoping they do.

Burnley have really earned their points this season and on a shoestring budget. The ridiculous Jimenez sending off vs Leeds still winds me up. Plus after we beat Palace I went on the Burnley and Leeds forums for a laugh. Burnley seemed more concerned with finishing ahead of Leeds whereas the BITTERNESS on the Leeds boards was most satisfying.

So Leeds to be relegated please.

Sure, but I’m talking from my own perspective and what I’ve seen in my lifetime.

I don’t expect everyone to agree, but I like Leeds.
I find that a lot of people base their ideal top flights on who was in the division when they were growing up. (though Burnley was in like the 4th division when I was young...)

Leeds have always felt a tier two club to me.

Yeah, I think that’s fair.

I suspect some part of all of us would like to restore the top division to the makeup it was when we first got into football, I guess. The classic top flight of our youth, as you say.

I’d quite like to see Leeds, Forest, the Sheffield clubs, Coventry… the early 90s, basically!
