Did the same thing in a pub in Clifton many years ago. Made them switch over from some horrible nonsense like University Challenge.

Place emptied about half an hour in, when the punters realised I wasn't being ironic.

Worst was in Thailand I think.

Week after week I made the friends I made watch us for over 6 months.
