Pickford: panics whenever the ball is played back to him, just smashes it as hard as he can, instils no confidence in his defence from corners. Despite being a better shot stopper, I’d play Begovic: calmer head.

Kenny: not a Premier League footballer.

Mykolenko: a bang average acquisition.

Godfrey: has looked abysmal this season, error strewn and lacking in concentration.

Branthwaite: bang average centre back.

Holgate: not a midfielder.

Iwobi: a bang average attacking midfielder on a good day; one of the worst to ever pull on the shirt when he’s having an off day.

Gordon: good prospect.

Richarlison: hate the way he sulks around the place, throwing himself to the floor.

Calvert-Lewin: has looked atrocious since his injury.

He was far and away the best player on the pitch today. Feel sorry for him going into the dressing and seeing Kenny, Godfrey, Doucoure etc sat there looking gormless.

4 of those 5 teams are beatable they have all been highly erratic especially Leicester which we play twice just need to be on for a couple games and exert some effort

Mate, we can’t beat Burnley, Watford or Norwich ffs. What makes you think we have a chance against these.

It’s not just luck mate. Yes we’ve had alot of bad luck but the players are simply not good enough.

But to be honest i cant even really find blame in the players and manager there

Considering how uttterly crap we think they are, and their rep for being bottlers, in a strange way i think theyve actually made a good fist of playing to win these two crucial games and yes have shown fight and spirit

Its all the recent history of bad decisions at the club that i thought of first and then the utter bad luck with injuries and suspensions at the worst times

We shouldnt have a squad that leaves us with either young players with not enough experience and/or quality or "senior" players that dont show any leadership and make more mistakes than the youngsters

I dont know what the reaction in general is from everybody but i feel bad for most of the players that played tonight. An utter lack of quality/guile in key moments up front and then another 2 mistakes in defence that get punished to the max

That’s a short sighted view, but I can understand why you look at it like that. It’s 11 v 11 and if it clicks and it needs to we can grab a draw or perhaps even a win against one or two, we can’t just throw games they have to be played. We will have players back, but Frank has some serious thinking to do over some players, arguably Dom he just doesn’t look good and I zero threat and we need goals.

We were 2-1 up and should have taken dcl off sat back and scored a third on the break but oh no that’s to complicated for our management team.

We can beat United and Leicester at Goodison, yes it will be tough but they are inconsistent and with a full house and some passion anything can happen. We still need to believe and stop thinking the worst. Our luck will change

Just to add. Lampard can go now. And he can take that guy Clement with him. Also take Cole. All are just useless. Take a look at our results . They back up my claim. If nothing else or nobody else can be persuaded to take the job. Then give it to Ferguson and Baines. They showed a little passion and effort in that one match against Villa. They couldn't be any worse than Lampard.
Ok folks.....so the chances are that Lampards going nowhere. So expect no changes for the Man Utd game. And expect another defeat. I really really hope not. But this is Everton. This is Frank Lampard. How many matches does he need to set up a defence. To play a proper three in midfield. And to realise that DCL is now thinking about his move to Arsenal.
