Don't you think lampard should have shut up shop at 2-2 with subs, fresh legs and all that .
I think we were well on top, that’s why he didn’t make changes. There was no one on that bench bar gray and possibly delle (who knows what his issue is). It was on the pitch mistakes that lost us that match…AGAIN

Is this rock bottom???
Dyche extracting the urine out of us at half time…..

He’s right though tbf….

The defining thing is that we have played much better in the last two games, but still lost. If you’re playing badly and losing you feel you can improve. If you improve and still lose games theres no way out!

The individual errors are calamitous at times and always seem to lead directly to goals. Kenny for their second, committing himself. If you are not getting the ball, you should volley the player into the stand, not let him breeze past. Godfreys mistake is a shocker, as was Pickfords sliced clearance which put us in that position in the first place.

This was a game between 2 dreadful teams. The only difference is that I think Burnley players know their level and the fans can accept that too. We're full of players like Holgate and Iwobi who think they're superstars and we as fans can see right through it. I'd prefer to watch truly awful players where I can see at least they're trying their best rather than what we have.

Genuinely if I were to compare us to any team in the league I'd go to City, we never get out of first gear and just assume that we're better than the opposition so we'll win no matter what. The only obvious difference is City have literally have a 25 man squad of World Class players, yet we don't have a single one. These players' attitude is honestly the prime example for a case study on delusion and narcissism.

Left it a while before posting so I could do so calmly.

Positives - going forward we were good but lacking a final ball, but still had enough chances to put the game beyond Burnley,

But the defence is woeful. I have no idea what the four players in a line right in front of Pickford was about, when Burnley scored the first. If those more tactically astute than I am could explain it to me I’d be grateful. As far as I could see it prevented our own keeper coming off his line and not much else. But where we really screwed the pooch was Burnley’s second and third. Three times they had a player at the byline and players on the edge of the six yard box waiting for a pull-back. On one the player never pulled it back and shot into the side netting, the others were cut back and they scored. On none of the three did any of our defenders who’d dropped back to the goal line even attempt to step forward and block the path of the cut back.

Kevin Campbell was banging on about all they need to do is the basics of defending. But the truth is that these players have been incapable of the basics for a few seasons, and I haven’t seen it improve since January.

It really is brown shorts time now.

So many comparisons can be made with us and city.

Especially financially , where did city end up after they had spent 500 million for example.

why add to it? i hate all these stats mate sorry but you don’t have to
Come on now….. you’re showing even less resilience than our defence.

Don’t add to it? It’s the irony of it all, I’m not adding to it, it’s on the bbc website and it’s been reported on all season, we’re a shambles and this is a season of firsts or firsts in a long time for all the wrong reasons.

we know this tho

We will always unconditionally support the club, doesn't necessarily follow that these fraud players, the owner or chairman can count on that support. Burnley beat us because they had a basic game plan strategy that they followed through. We couldn't follow ours for a number of reasons .. we can't defend ,tackle, hold the ball ,pass never mind scoring. And have the most consistent players who make basic but monumental mistakes. All in all we have a team that would struggle on a Sunday morning at the local park .
