Look on the bright side. Imagine you're a Burnley fan. It's not even their relegation showdown. They are, apparently, just making up the numbers in OUR relegation showdown. Big club premium, you see.

I’ll take a point tonight, don’t care if we play garbage, we just need any kind of a result. A draw maintains the status quo and prevents Burnley closing on us, but a win for either team is a huge result. I have a sneaky feel we might finally take the lead and then scrape out a jammy 0-1, but I I’ve said that for every away game this season. Stay strong blues, could get stormy.

BBC R4 were going quite heavy on it in their early morning sports news as well. It was the first thing I heard on waking. They succeeded in getting the seriousness of the situation across. Oliver Kay was the contributor.

Our problems and generally poor team and performances seem to have gone under the radar for years but no longer it seems. Even all of my work colleagues who have been adamant we are not going down would now concede it's a strong possibility at least.

A draw is not a bad result for us away from home. Reset your expectations! this is a tough away game against another poor team who are fighting to stay in this league. This isn't really about form its about the will and desire to stay up.
A draw would be a win!
