Not a bad shout that, Beni and Baines would perform better than Schneiderlin and Davies at DM.

Really hope not but can see them bullying us all over the park today and the usual happening, as soon as we put a tackle back in that player is booked. If McCarthy is fit play him. My first choices are Gana and Gomes like.

Agreed. If we can score more goals than them we'll win this ;)
Wise words mate. I really hope people can fit into their seats after Christmas dinner. I'd like an atmosphere that is pleasant and cordial at all times. Hopefully I can find a stream later to watch this game and shout as many profanities as possible while waving my foam finger.

I wont be satisfied with anything but a win in this. I know we have been poor since the RS fluked it and were proper embarrassing against Spurs but we have showed against the RS and some games previous that we are capable of much more and can compete even against the best teams in this league. We are playing a team that have only won 3 games so far and have had more goals scored against them than games played i.e conceded 20. No free passes for lack of confidence, transition period or injuries for this match imo. If the blues cannot get motivated and play passionately, tactfully and skilfully against a team who have been as crud as these have been all season then you have to wonder why we are even bothering because that is not forward progression in any sense of the word.

We are owed a good showing and its about time we gave someone that good tonking like we know we are capable of doing.

Plus i want to watch MOTD on Boxing day. lol

Queue the fume tomorrow evening.

“We are owed a good showing” If they paid us back for all they owe us, we’d win the double for the next five years, at least.

Shows how bad things have gotten that there are people calling for the return of Schneiderlin and McCarthy. Just need someone to suggest Niasse and we’ll have the ‘unholy trinity’.

Need to win, simple as that really, a loss and we will just fall further away from any chance of European football next year.

ctually think we need not only to win, but to do so in a way that us emphatic and builds confidence again.
