We can’t beat Southampton, Newcastle, Leeds and Burnley

We have no recognised full backs

We have not kept a clean sheet since game week 1

We have Chelsea, arsenal, Leicester, Man Utd and Man City in December

We have very little pace in our team

Damn

Now that u put it that way lol

and a win will see us not far off the top. Not everything has to get a negative spin all the time
No I agree and thats what I mean. Right now we are just off the top soon we will be just off the bottom. The league is going to be so tight this season there is no point worrying.

He look better at emergency LB in a back 4, than he did as an emergency RB in a back 4
maybe the emergency aspect gives him less chances to over think his game and he sticks to KISS and the basics

....Godfrey is a CB, certainly the type of CB we need as he has pace and aggression. He’s not a LB or anything else.

Godfrey is raw and will make mistakes but he has the physical attributes we’ve lacked since Zouma left. I feel once he plays CB in a conventional back four alongside Keane, we’ll be much improved once that partnership beds in.

Im half full...you're half empty?
I’m realistic. Because teams at the top, by definition, win most games, it’s far harder to make up points on them, because, well, they don’t drop points.

It may be nice to look at it and say “5 off top” (more likely to be 7 by the time the weekend’s done), but that requires 8 teams (11 if you include the games in hand, which you should do, so more than half the league) to all lose (some more than twice) whilst we go on a winning streak and drop 0 points. And remember, these are the teams that don’t drop points.

We’re 9th, soon to be 11th once games are caught up, and we’ve got several games coming up which will almost certainly yield another hefty winnless streak. 15th place beckons...

To pass off the place we’re in now as good is naive at best, delusional at worst.

Yeah it was a daft pass, but Doucoure is also to blame for it, then Keane stands five yards off Brady and lets him pick his spot.
The phase of play started with Allan pass playing a teammate into trouble, his gesturing to teammates after the goal, well he knows where the blame will attributed. He needs to sharpen up, he is in his prime brought in for his experience, only let off he is in the most competitive league in the world in my opinion,

Yes, as I said it was a bad pass, though the phase of play actually starts with us trying to play our way out from the corner flag in the third minute. Again, that's tactical.

It's a crap pass from Allan, an even worse attempt at controlling it from Doucoure, who is completely unaware of the players around him, and a crap attempt to block the shot from our captain on the day (the tombola in full force) Keane.

It was crap. They were all crap.

On Allan, he starts games very slowly and then in the second half looks exactly the type of player we want in there - dogged and wants to press and hassle. Our general fitness is such an issue and we are so slow on the ball in midfield, though. Look at Chelsea and Leeds, and loads of other teams, who have genuine ball carriers who have skill to go with power.

It stems from the players and manager atm, and then the issue is compounded by our daft DoF.
