As predicted, we are the architects of our own downfall. I for one am not surprised by the performance so far.

As I see it now, the best outcome for us today is to continue playing with no balance, structure or purpose, and then a bit of brilliance from Richy or James salvages something from the game, hopefully a narrow win.

Carlo sees the error of his ways and stops persevering with a system that nobody understands or likes.

The formation is almost forcing a 'moment of magic' from us. The players look like they have no idea how to play this system.

Burnley just more familiar with what they are doing.

Say what you want about Gomes form since his injury but at least he’ll show a bit of movement to take the ball off our defenders and try and make us play, the rest of them midfielders are so static

Gomes has been crap for a long time. It's no surprise he gets nowhere near the Portuguese national side.
