He’s switched to 3 CBs before when the situation has dictated. If Myko is ruled out Tarky / Keane /Godfrey with Patterson and McNeil wing backs is a workable solution.

That tactic for us is hoping 3 inferior players can do the work of 2, and would mean ever lower possession stats. And it has never worked.

It's a tough one to call when changing the back four. If Keane or Godfrey play alongside Tarkowski hopefully there's been enough sessions in training to prepare for occasions like this. Not expecting anything miraculous from Keane, just keep it simple and remember what the job is.

Think Danjuma getting minutes he might also be in the thinking for QF Tuesday also.
