Has Tim stopped selling his arse to Qatar then?

Love him, but that's a disgrace of him to sell himself like that.

Top player.
but...
Just as he had a knack of positioning himself in the box, he shows the same gift for positioning himself in his public life - no mug him...might even do a job for us, not sure where though

"This season is massive for Frank, it will be the telling of him. Kevin Thelwell [sporting director] also has a very big job. A club like Everton, it needs structuring and football people put in the right positions, from grassroots upwards. The manager is a reflection of trying to finish that on the pitch."

No fool, Cahill. He is spot on about Lampard and Thelwell and he knows Moshiri won't wait forever for evidence of serious improvement. After all, Cahill himself was involved in the selection process that ended with the appointment of Lampard. If he thinks this season "will be the telling of him", I think we all know what the hierarchy expects of Lampard. From the Sky interview yesterday, it's clear Lampard is of the same opinion - making no comments about the future and the stadium. Simply put, it's this season or bust for serious, tangible improvement.

Don't know if Thelwell would react too well to another cook in the building in the football areas. I love Cahill but unless he is going for Denise's job I don't think it would be a smart move. If Thelwell leaves then by all means get him in.

Lost an awful lot of respect for him since he started accepting money for promoting sportswashing. As if he hasn't got enough millions in the bank already, just like Beckham with his "I always love returning to Qatar with my family on holiday!" adverts.
I hear you, but I'm not sure the Aspire Academy has much to do with sportswashing. It's hardly known outside of Qatar, let alone the Middle East as a whole.

Yeah, European teams use it as a winter training base and Players use it for Injury rehab (Just like Naad Al Sheeba in Dubai)

Does he fly the flag for Qatar in his role? A little....

Does he take massive money for his job? Yeah, but he's well respected in the game, I'm sure he could earn similar money at a top European club. (Though taxed, of course)

Does he spout utter nonsense on behalf of Qatar just to promote the world cup, like Beckham (and others)? Not that I have heard/read.

I expect his interview recently was the next step of his exit strategy out of the Gulf. I wouldn't be surprised is Aspire have already settled on a date/severance with him.

Id say you have the DOF on the football side and then I think its the Sporting (ironically) Director who is more focused on the business side of things.

I'd see him in that position moving to CEO.

If only a certain club, likely in need of a takeover, had a contact in the oil rich east with business relationships with some of the worlds richest people, who loved the club and who could “talk” to Farhad regularly and hold influence. ;)
