That's the 'borosilicate glass sippy cup' market destroyed then. Shame.

Scott Bessent was on TV saying Trump's tariffs of 20% on China in his first term resulted in a less than 1% price increase to the US consumer. If(and I realise that's a big if)accurate then these tariffs are not going to have huge impacts on consumers. If they have minimal impacts on consumers then importers can survive.

These are high risk moves from Trump. Let's see how they play out in a year or two. I encourage everyone to stop panicking in the meantime. And certainly pay little attention to business men and women posting on instagram who have barely felt the consequences yet of these tariffs.

Where were you folk when people were losing well paid manufacturing jobs because of NAFTA or being fired enough masse for not taking a vaccine?

HOLY MOLY

Imagine parroting the current president about 'taking medicine' with his well known ideas (intravenous bleach) for curing covid.

And eggs, remember them, maybe he will cut the price of eggs in the u.s. but only comparatively, if he can inflict financial ruin on other countries, basic groceries there will sky rocket and thus he can brag 'at least you don't live in El Salvador, a dozen eggs there now costs a months wage!'.

I wonder at which point a few countries club together and work trump and his acolytes over.

I appreciate you’re posting in your second language comrade but you’ve used an apostrophe erroneously.
I'm glad you alluded to Russia. Oil price now at a four year low and hopefully continuing to fall. This puts a further squeeze on Russia. For all the egghead policy wonks telling us how best to deal strategically with Russia the best way to keep Russia in its box is simply to maintain low oil prices.

Russia is a slowly declining world power when oil prices are high, it's a seriously failing state when oil prices are low. Russia can keep the lights on at $100 a barrel. At $60 a barrel it can't do sh*t.

What’s your take on the moon landings, fellow Blue Boy?

Trump will invoke the Insurrection Act and make a grab for martial law by April 20th.

The fences are going up already.
