actually at goodison, yeah

everton 2 - newcastle 4 i think, it was the game pistone took gerrard out and the hunchback got an easy tap into an open net.

26th January 1985 v Doncaster Rovers. FA Cup 4th round.

We won two nil, Steven and Stevens the scorers. Me Grandad bought me a sound bobble hat with half Everton half Celtic on it.

November 1960, EFC v Spurs, then the power team in the land, we lost in the fog 3 - 1, but the atmosphere and camaraderie was second to none, hasn't changed in all those years of ups and downs

1985 Charity Shield against the [Poor language removed] at Wembley. Drew 1-1. Hooked for life.

Against West Ham. Unsworths return. One of the best experiences I have ever had. Will never forget waiting at the bottom of the Gwladys stairs with my dad, he looked at me deadly serious and told me to take a deep breath before walking up the stairs to see Goodison for the first time. Will never forget that.

February 2000. We beat Derby at home with goals from Michael Ball and Joe Max-Moore

This is quite strange because I think that was my last game, health has been downhill ever since. Nice as one old blue departs you've come along and taken my place Rodders, I couldn't be more happy lad a more than worthy successor. I'll have to check that out with my mate I'm not certain if it was that game as it may have been the Chelsea match with Hasselbank pulling, kickiing and being an all round pain in the arse, I think it was though, no matter even if it wasn't it was one of my last games(y) (y) (y) (y)

aw thanks monts, can't think of a better predecessor :) (y) Great coincidence if it was your last game, I remember it well. I've not looked back since then. I was already in love with the club, but to go to Goodison as a 10 year old lad and see us win was just amazing. We were sat in the Lower Bullens. Not the greatest view but I didn't care, got this great photo of me wrapped up in just about every piece of Everton clothing known to man with the players in the background

I feel rest assured that you'll recall that day in 50 years time and it will feel like only yesterday mate.....................happy days are to be cherished(y) (y)

My one and only so far at Goodison was the Spurs match on Good Friday, 2004.

We won 3-1.

Tell us more TX I'd be interested as you are a dedicated Blue but you live so many miles away. What did you feel, what did you make of the atmosphere when compared to similar events stateside

1971/2, Goodison, v Arsenal, nine or ten at the time, ashamed to say i cant remember the score, think it was 2-1 for us, my dad and my uncle took me there, i must have been a blue even before that but that game sealed it for me, the atmosphere was something else, (42 odd thousand, i'd never experienced anything like it ) i will never forget it.

Mine, 84 FA cup final(need I say any more), Dad bought the tickets as a surprise for my tenth birthday. I had been to GP many times before, but this is the first match that sticks in my mind clear as crystal. (he says for my birthday, but we all know it was because he wanted to go and this was the only way my mum would not say no) ;) ;)  (y) (y)
