Can't write posts from Windows Phones

I realize there's not much GOT itself can do about this, as it may be dependent on the forum software, but you can't post on here with a Windows Phone.

Everything renders fine and you can read everything with no issue, but when you go to write a post the virtual keyboard refuses to stay up when you place the cursor in the window. So effectively, GOT was "read-only" for me all vacation since I didn't bring a computer or tablet with me. :C

I have a Lumia 920 personally, but I'm guessing this applies to all WP8 devices since the browser software is identical across all of 'em.

You could just buy a smartphone that works, and take a camera to the concert with you

You'd seriously have to spend hundreds and hundreds on a video camera to get the same quality I'm getting today, right now. I guess I will have to post a video to show you what I mean.

I don't even know why I respond to WP bashing. It "works" just fine. It's also 10% of the market in the UK and most of the rest of Europe, so it's not exactly going away anytime soon.

In my experience, the people that knock it have never actually picked up a handset for themselves.

I'll look into this for you mate. What version of windows phone and the browser is all I need.

WP7 and 8 are actually both quite tidy. Just need a good userbase to get the app ecosystem going, but it seems they need a good app ecosystem to attract the users! Vicious cycle!!!
