Could it be that since Arteta is under contract, he goes with the team to Oz like all of the other senior players. His being captain is probably no more than Neville out with injury and Cahill in the starting XI. Arteta is a vice-captain.

Bet Arteta is not captain in the next match if Cahill is in the starting XI which would certainly mean Arteta has packed his bags for Manchester.
