Audi by a miles soft bastards on there 3 year lease deals thinking they are something,
used to be BMW that would me up.
But nine times out of ten you see some [Poor language removed] on the road is an audi.
Pet hate is woman in range rovers who obviously can't drive such a big car, can't corner can't park just get a you can handle .

Did you type this when you were driving?

I would admit that whilst Tesla build quality might not be quite that of well-established car manufacturers, it certainly is not poor.

It is with their battery and drive train technology that they are significantly ahead of all the rest, and are likely to remain so for some time to come.

Tesla only produce electric vehicles, so all their R&D budget is highly targeted... all the rest are still trying to squeeze more mpg and lower emissions from ICE/hybrids while trying to play catch-up with Tesla, BYD and, to a lesser extent, Polestar on EV technology.

And a planned revision of the Model 3 is due fairly soon, and the smaller - less than £25,000 - rumoured to be named Model 2 is allegedly destined for production in the Tesla Berlin production plant either in 2024 or early 2025.
Are they doing much on solid state batteries? Not heard much on this front about them. BMW and Toyota seem to be putting their hats on solid state.

I'm not a car guy but listened to someone who is complain that Tesla owns absolutely no technology, despite being/allegedly Everton leader. Their brand is strong, but without any technology they have little moat (to borrow a phrase from Buffet). That along with poor quality/reliability will surely be a hindrance in the long term (as well as bloated stock valuation).

Interesting point, I assumed they did own some proprietary tech around the battery’s but then again they’re a car manufacturer, what ‘tech’ do the likes of Ford own for example.
I know their charging system is being widely adopted lately which presumably has some licensing upside.

SUV's seem to be driven exclusively by people with no spatial awareness who seem to veer between infuriating indecisive caution or the assumption that they always have right of way, expect others to mount the kerb to allow for their ineptness and also a right to two parking bays.

just noticed I wrote EV proceeded by a common article ("the") and I was autocorrected to Everton by this #1 Toffee Town Raider Forum. so that's it, then, Elon is buying out 777 to be the next incompetent, narcissistic club owner.

I for one welcome our new club overlord.

charging network and adapter is a plus, absolutely. they have done a lot with design and implementation and they may own their solar roof but what I heard described was that they own no battery technology, although that was at least 5 years ago so that may no longer be correct.
