Carlo Ancelotti suing Everton?!!

No idea how that feller gets away with printing nothing factual.

Uzmanov had zero legal ties to the club apart from sponsorship. He wasn't a shareholder or had any legal say on the board. He'd just turn up with Mosh to flex.

If Uzi promised Carlo something via sponsorship, surely it would be Uzi he'd be going after and not the club? Being that Uzi has apparently zero ties to the club now, the links between him and the court case in relation to the club are sheer guess work.

What's owned to Carlo is 100% the clubs and Moshiri's fault, not Uzi's, cos I'm sure they'd just pay him off

I suspect Carlo and his lawyers' strategy is to hope we don't want any of the Moshiri / Usmanov stuff being dragged out in open court (no matter what evidence there is / isn't of something untoward) and just settle up.

He quit without us getting anything and he then sues us. Surely he was just as in breach of contract as Everton.
He was afforded a get-out clause purely in respect of Real Madrid - blame the idiot owner, major sponsor and pathetic board that agreed to that !!!

OR maybe some of Don Carlo's family would be visited by some of uncle Uzi's family......

A little polonium in his next cup of tea might raise his eyebrow a little.

Seriously though, if Usmanov promised him something, then go ask him for it. He ain't nothing to do with us.

To be fair, it was nothing like the full-on homoerotic circle-jerk that smothered Frank Lampard. Truly, that was a, er, seminal moment in Everton's history.
It was exciting. The promise of the start of a management career for a successful english footballer, who was articulate, intelligent and had learned off some of the best coaches in recent history. Sadly he hadn't learned how to successfilly man manage / make decisions / win a game of football.

I like you comment a lot.

But seriously, I wouldn't wish harm on Ancellotti fir what he did - and frankly I respect him more than Usmanov and even Everton at this point. This is how far we've sunk.

The craziest part of that is that however deep down they kept it, not a single one of them truly thought he was going to be a good manager

I would be shocked if the next time we see Frank he isn’t sporting a rediculously thick and lustrous head of hair. Doesn’t seem the type, and hasn’t got the face, to go bald gracefully.

On Carlo, he may need the funds to come from a non sanctioned source? He’s bound to have some mesmeric tax affairs is Carlo, so cash from the club might be necessary rather than a huge wedge from the sponsor. And would be the correct way to do things anyway.

Wonder if we can sanction ourselves?
