Big news lads, just seen Carlo in the Tesco car park on country road with four cans of Tesco cider and a pack of Lambert and Butler, its happening!

I just rang up that branch of Tesco to see if they had cans of Tesco Cider in stock, but they said they’d just sold their last 4-pack to a ‘foreign looking chap’.

I initially agreed with you but the more I think about it, how far are we really off of the "top 4-6"? Talent and depth wise we can't be that far away Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs, all who we got a result against in the last couple of weeks.

I really think that Silva was just a terrible manager, who massively underachieved. He set us up to play his preferred style of football irregardless of the opponent, and lacked the ability to make any mid-game adjustments. He also couldn't motivate a paper bag.

A pragmatic and inspirational manager should be able to get a tune out of this squad. Hell we just got a point at Old Trafford with Davies and Holgate as our CMs.

We are a good bit off Chelsea and Spurs imo. Arsenal are crap so we are close to them for sure. But the problem is we are oceans away from the RS and City. In that sense we aren't close.

I’m more worried about West Ham than I am Arsenal.

Don’t think Arsenal are interested, but West Ham would want the same profile level-up from Ancelotti that we’d be looking for.

I think it would be. I'd prefer for us to take a couple years and try to build up to being competitive instead of looking for the magic 1 year fix.
