I do have doubts about Ancelotti building a team and using decent players at best to push us up the table but when you're a club like us who has won jack all for a long time you don't turn someone with Ancelotti's CV down.

don’t get me wrong, Ancelotti is a top draw name. If we get an Ancelotti that is firing on all cylinders and has a real hunger than we could be in for a great manager. However, I don’t know the man, but at 60 having won everything there is to win by managing team with a huge status in their respective countries. It is a gamble.

It will be interesting for sure. I don’t doubt his track record. BUT, as others have rightly pointed out, he has had some struggles recently. It’s always a tad concerning when a manager starts to tank a little. Hopefully it is a blip and not a trend.

What did happen at Napoli? The only time i watched them was against the RS and they looked good, far more tactically aware of klopps tactics than anyone else
