Dunno why people are talking about them in this thread to be honest.

I mean they are about to win the league in March, doubt anything can rattle them at this point like.
Football is not about one season only or two or three, it is about a much longer time.

Anybody looking at Everton recently would have just seen a mess, whereas Liverpool were/are motoring ahead and most certainly should win the league this season.

But suddenly, the sacking of Silva, the potential appointment of Ancelotti, the new ground and the increasing understanding that there may be greater resources available than those of Moshiri alone might make somebody who can further ahead than just a few weeks think that maybe Everton can become a top club again.... after quite a few false dawns.

do not do this to yourself buddy.

I’m work lads what’s happening Sky sports at half 1 said he signed 4 half years contract with his son Davide being assistant and dunc also on the coaching team. Is that sky talking crap again or what?

As City have shown, theres ways around things.

The reality is we could spend a lot more under STCC and FFP. Whether we have deep enough pockets, or whether the owner wants too is a different question.

They were willing to try and spend another 100+ million on Doucoure, Zaha & Zouma in the summer.

I don't think e will have the same difficulty attracting players and I suspect the owner may be more willing to back Ancelotti than previously managers.

As I said earlier, I wouldn't rule out a bid for Koulibaly.

i’ll be made up when we get him. Raises the profile of the Club, makes us an interesting proposition for players and maybe the media will give us more respect. I’m a little concerned how his last 2 jobs have gone though. But tactically, he’s up there with the very best. Just hope he still has the hunger. Welcome Carlo.

He'll be looking at this as a project. He wouldn't come here to sit on the touchline half-arsed, it would ruin his reputation. For him. this is a chance to sign off in style. Perhaps emotion getting the better of me, but this has me in visions of Ranieri at Leicester here - if he can come close to what he achieved then i'll be buzzing.

At the very least, it proves the Usmanov is heavily involved and that Moshiri is still trying to get us to the top. It's exciting times, a real 'Robinho moment' for Moshiri and the club.

Can you post me pic of Carlo assistant please.
Hope its this fella mate.
