Maybe I'm wrong about Carlo, but if Brands wants to build through development of young players I don't see them seeing eye to eye. And again I really don't know what Carlo is thinking but it just seems like someone who has won the PL, CL and coached the clubs he has will want to build quickly and not try to really lay the groundwork in the way we desperately need. And that building from the ground up is what I thought Brands was here to do.

Everton have been a 'long-term project' for about 25 years. The project keeps on getting extended by a further five years every 12 months.
