I think once arteta is announced at arsenal which should be today at some point, then Ancelotti will sign with us very quickly after. Clearly wanted the arsenal gig but lack of options and money talks...

The RS media really don’t want this to happen do they? lol

...that and the annoying no-mark players from the past, Paul Robinson, Darren Bent, Craig Burnley...

They all got an opinion of where we should be. Not one of them won anything of note, probably finished below us their entire careers, but somehow are the gospel on Everton. Hoping Carlo signs and rubs their noses in it!

If you're going to ban roster, then soccer should be equally banned
No idea if the following is true, mind :coffee:

The word “soccer,” which is believed to have originated in Britain some 200 years ago, comes from the official name of the sport, “association football.” As other versions of the game evolved to include Rugby Football, it is believed the Brits adopted colloquialisms to distinguish each game.

“The rugby football game was shortened to ‘rugger,’ a term recognized in British English to the present day, and the association football game was, plausibly, shortened to ‘soccer’” Szymanski writes. (Apparently ending words in “er” was a fad back then.)

Gradually, the term “soccer” gained popularity in the U.S. to distinguish the sport from American football. By the 1980s, the Brits began to part with the term, apparently, because it had become too “American.”

I have never say the word soccer in my life and I've never heard i t said by anyone over this side,so you keep it mate.

Am sure if he wanted that he would of got it. Some weird people post on this forum la.
Why? You dont always get the jobs even if he is a great manager...as an outsider if you have to choose between arsenal and everton...one club playing european football and located in london...the other playing for premier league survival and located you know where...tough choice...it is just reality. Let's hope he signs before United decides to sack their manager...just in case
