The Koeman/Walsh transfer policy was an unmitigated disaster, both trying to sign players without any sort of plan, and we are still literally paying for that chaos now with the likes of Sandro, Bolasie, and Niasse (Martinez relic I know!) still on the books with all the financial baggage they bring!

To be fair we are clear favourites between the two to get him in as manager. He has also drifted and I know betting doesn’t really make a difference but if it was so close they would be suspended in the betting

I wish people would stop mentioning bookie odds.

I used to work on the trading team for a big online bookie and I can tell you categorically that odds on ‘next manager’ markets are no indication whatsoever of anything that is happening in reality.

Hardly any money at all is placed on these markets, bookies do not accept any remotely sizeable bet on them and would prefer not to offer them at all really. They only offer them to keep up with the competition.

They mean less than nothing regarding who the next manager will be.
