He could well be successful, that’s what we want, and it would be great for Cahill and Ferguson also, but Ancelotti is 60 and it could be seen as natural progression for one of those to take over after him even if it’s afer 5 years.
 
I think with Dunc getting the UTD game maybe Ancelotti is open to talking to Everton, he was only sacked last night so nothing was going to be sorted today, hopefully he's agreed to meet Brands and Moshiri and we can have him here before Arsenal, even better if it's before Leicester, Goodison at night with our new mafia head honcho will be boss

If he does choose to come back to England (doubtful) rather than taking some time off after another sacking, why would he come here over Arsenal?

They have more money and a higher profile. And Blue isnt exactly his lucky colour after Chelsea!

He is going from taking Napoli to the last 16 to here where we haven't even had Europe league football for 3 seasons.

Not saying it won't happen but it's unlikely.

Arsenal isn’t anywhere near as attractive as it used to be, they have well known issues within the ownership etc of the club, Kroenke doesn’t seem to have a plan or vision for the club apart from buying all the shares that are available. Moshiri I believe would be able to ‘sell’ Everton to him. Anyway my original post didn’t mention anything about if he would come here or he wouldn’t, it was that I’d like to see Cahill and Ferguson as his assistants if he was appointed.

Pfft they are no where near a top 4 team. London nah not for me, maybe for Carlo but why not us, we will see I guess.
