Yeah but why? If Carlo comes and is successful m, they will never become our managersI’d like to think he could be a good mentor for them and that they could give him as much insight in to the club as anyone.

He could well be successful, that’s what we want, and it would be great for Cahill and Ferguson also, but Ancelotti is 60 and it could be seen as natural progression for one of those to take over after him even if it’s afer 5 years.Yeah but why? If he does choose to come back to England (doubtful) rather than taking some time off after another sacking, why would he come here over Arsenal? He could well be successful, that’s what we want, and it would be great for Cahill and Ferguson also, but Ancelotti is 60 and it could be seen as natural progression for one of those to take over after him even if it’s afer 5 years.
Perhaps. Or they could decide bringing in a controversial candidate during a nightmare fixture run is a bad idea, as he will be under massive pressure immediatelythey Would have had him in instantly instead of Duncan
As if a multimillionaire would not take the first job offer on the table! It's West Ham or Everton for Ancelotti.
Only PL clubs hand out wages that would satisfy him.
His only other option is to sit the season out and wait until the summer.
He is going from taking Napoli to the last 16 to here where we haven't even had Europe league football for 3 seasons. If he does choose to come back to England (doubtful) rather than taking some time off after another sacking, why would he come here over Arsenal?
They have more money and a higher profile. And Blue isnt exactly his lucky colour after Chelsea!
No, Gattuso is an Italian football hero after winning multiple European Cups and, most of all, the World Cup.Gattuso appointed Napoli manager, his agent is a GOD.
Arsenal isn’t anywhere near as attractive as it used to be, they have well known issues within the ownership etc of the club, Kroenke doesn’t seem to have a plan or vision for the club apart from buying all the shares that are available. Moshiri I believe would be able to ‘sell’ Everton to him. Anyway my original post didn’t mention anything about if he would come here or he wouldn’t, it was that I’d like to see Cahill and Ferguson as his assistants if he was appointed. If he does choose to come back to England (doubtful) rather than taking some time off after another sacking, why would he come here over Arsenal?

Still more attractive than here.Arsenal isn’t anywhere near as attractive as it used to be, they have well known issues within the ownership etc of the club, Kroenke doesn’t seem to have a plan or vision for the club apart from buying all the shares that are available. Pfft they are no where near a top 4 team. London nah not for me, maybe for Carlo but why not us, we will see I guess.Still more attractive than here.
Fourth best wage bill in the league, a team full of internationals, a mix of youth and experience, the chance to push for top four and....
... living in London.
Ozil vs Tom Davies, Aubamayang vs Oumar Niasse, Pepe vs Theo Walcott....Pfft they are no where near a top 4 team. London nah not for me, maybe for Carlo but why not us, we will see I guess.
Is that the same Ozil who doesn’t play in away games and who seems to be falling over his own lip.Ozil vs Tom Davies, Aubamayang vs Oumar Niasse, Pepe vs Theo Walcott....
Id say there’s more chance of Cilla Black going on a comeback tour!He is going from taking Napoli to the last 16 to here where we haven't even had Europe league football for 3 seasons.
Not saying it won't happen but it's unlikely.
Played against West Ham Monday - helped carve them apartIs that the same Ozil who doesn’t play in away games and who seems to be falling over his own lip.
