Carlo Ancelotti

It really concerns me that we are considering Moyes. Massive backward step.
Furthermore, Alan Stubbs talking on TalkSport saying Moyes is a better manager now, and it’s a “good thing” to have him back. Sake.
Always hated that rat, Stubbs. Always tried to put the club down and have a go at it. Telling Rooney to leave, etc.

Big nosed prick.

I think with Dunc getting the UTD game maybe Ancelotti is open to talking to Everton, he was only sacked last night so nothing was going to be sorted today, hopefully he's agreed to meet Brands and Moshiri and we can have him here before Arsenal, even better if it's before Leicester, Goodison at night with our new mafia head honcho will be boss
Or maybe it's too avoid Moyes having to take the team back to Old Trafford.

Willing to be shot down here, but am I the only bloke who simply can’t believe how appointing Moyes is such a negative vibe. Since he left, things have changed. We have a multi millionaire at the helm of our great club, we have a Director of Football, who (apparently) has much pedigree, we actioned have a group of players in Digne, Gomes, Richarlison and Bernard who are high class players and arguably, Pickford, Delph and Mina who are potentially very good players.
We need now, to appoint somebody like Ancelotti to send a message that Everton Football Club is forward thinking, and on the up.
Surely, surely, by appointing Moyes, everyone in the Football world will laugh at us if we do this. Typical Everton..... Moyes is just like putting on a comfortable pair of slippers.

Yes since he left things have changed.
He's been at 4 Clubs since ( 1 amongst the richest in the world) and been sacked from all of them.

Fine if the game is static in my opinion. But it's not. Things change rapidly and Moyes has been shown to be a relic in prior stops. The idea that he'd slot back in at Everton and everything would be as it was just isn't realistic.

It'd be one thing if he'd gone on and done well and retired and we sought him back for a few seasons of maintenance until we could find the right successor. That happens with some regularity in other sports and non-sport contexts (business, academia, etc.) and it seems to work. But that's not what happened with Moyes.
