We should of been at from the word go, get it wide and get it in.Instead we just surrender the middle of the park to them and let them stroll through and around it.Very weak mentality and no one there strong enough to change it mate.

It was mate but he options are limited.I don't know if delph was fully fit but if he was he should of played instead of siggy.We seemed to be all over the place,I dont know what he asked Walcott to do in the first half but it didn't work.

exactly.
we need more one touch passing, more one twos, more forward passing, players running into correct passing angle and allowing the passer to make an easier and more effective pass. These are all hallmark of the Italian game.

It takes time for our players to get used to this, most of them were taught to play slow buildup since Martinez and Ancelotti will not be able to change it in 2 weeks.

That would be the Italian game that has gone backwards hugely. Italian teams haven't won any Champions League titles in the last decade and it is 20 years since they won a Europa League/ UEFA Cup. Then look at the Italian National team who are now garbage,failing to qualify for a World Cup for the first time since 1958.

Why would we look to emulate that.

Does he genuinely want us to play from the back? If so he needs to realise you need good players to do that, why we didn't just turn Liverpool and knock it over the top or in the channels I don't know. Today was an absolute disgrace

...I’m actually concerned at the way that team was set up. It was very poor. I just hope he’s taking Ferguson’s advice before he does his own thing. Maybe he’s reliant on his own staff and they’re not in situ yet.
