Got no problem with that tbh apart from getting more people to form a blockade (wtf?) I think the players need to know that people aren't happy not just with Saturday but overall this season, Just hope it doesn't get too out of hand.

It's the fact that it was a Liverpool team in name only that made it, in my opinion, arguably the worst defeat in the club's history (that I know of).

Most of those lads who Klopp fielded will never play a league game for them. The Spaniard who bossed the midfield was garbage, the centre-back who's only ever played in Budesliga II was all over the place and that left-back was nearly poor enough to play for Everton. Throw in the sight of Lallana and Origi looking like de Bruyne and Drogba, and it's easy to see why this is a watershed moment for many.

I can only speak for myself when I say this, but I wouldn't be surprised if plenty of others feel the same way.
Oh I completely get that.

I meant more the team's displays in general, not our record at Anfield. This is a team that lost at Milwall last year, really struggled to beat Lincoln earlier this season, has lost to all three newly promoted sides, and has only won 2 PL games by more than one goal all season. We were never likely to just roll them over with the side they put out, it had enough decent players in it to cause us problems. It's hugely embarrassing that their 4th team or whatever is good enough to beat us, but if you've seen us play much this season it's not a massive surprise.

They've said nothing wrong there tbh.
The magnificent seven... well done ;)

When it gets to the point when Klopp can toy with us it really is a new low.

Yeah, I agree that it's nothing out of the ordinary for this squad to disgrace themselves and the club.

I just honestly, truly thought that, after seeing the Liverpool line-up, the best Klopp was going to get was the chance to laugh at us for finally ending our 20-year hoodoo because they allowed it.

Agreed, I mentioned yesterday a picture that was shown to me of a group of babies in a bath, written underneath it was the slogan about the Liverpool game after the derby last week.

We must remember a few weeks ago Villa beat a similar team 5-0 in a canter.

My hope is that this result will finally stop us making excuses for poor players and poor performances.
It could not have come at a better time for CA because it showed him the scale of his job but none of the taint of the defeat should rub off on him.

I have seen somewhere else the players suggesting the tactics were wrong and not their performances... they should be ashamed to even make such a suggestion after playing a reserve team.

This is the one potential positive.

I was worried that they'd get away with their usual trick of leveraging a manager being sacked into another season on the gravy train.

Apparently Dunc laid into the players at full time and the senior players had the nerve to blame Ancelloti's tactics .

Apparently there is more information on the Athletic website but I'm not paying those stupid prices they ask for .

Some of the Toffees stars reckon their impacts on the pitch are being limited by the Italian’s style of play
,

Yeah because before Ancelotti came in they were absolutely boss. lol:hayee:
