On a new manager bounce that would have lasted about 3 weeks once his lack of actual tactics and management skills came to the fore.

The way he had them busting a gut was admirable.
But sweating blood and running on adrenalin only gets you so far.

Am I naive to think even if a superpower comes in as some suggest - he would decline them? He’s come here for a project and abit of stability in his life I guess? He’s been there and done that with super clubs.

Joking aside, yesterday showed how much work this squad needs.

Walcott, Delph, Coleman are past it.
Davies, Kean, not yet good enough to start regularly.

(Albeit you would argue that none are starters).
