Lazono has only been at napoli for 6 months.

Totally agree, there were dog awful signings since Moyes, manager or D of F, they have wasted cash. Sharashaj, Niasse, McGeady, Alcaraz, Kone, Rodriguez all horrendous just the price has tripled since then.

Fact No.1: Brands has done nothing substantial to clear the decks of trash.

Fact No.2: Brands has bought utter trash - especially last summer.

Fact No.3: Ancelotti will be well aware of Brands' limitations and will insist to Moshiri that HE gets to choose our next crop of players.

Fact 1 - To sell a player you need to have a buyer, if there’s no buyer then you really cannot force teams to buy. You can’t then turn around and just simply release a player bought for £10/20/30m+ just to clear them off the bill as it would cos as much to get them to agree to a pay off

Fact 2 - Steve Walsh/Ronald Koeman and Roberto Martinez bought more trash than Brands which is why he has to clear the squad so much

Fact 3 - Ancelotti knows Brands standing in the game and will work WITH him not AGAINST him to bring players in that they BOTH feel will be successful at our club

How on earth is the manager responsible for that being lost? He's taken them to seconds of a victory and the players - WHO HAVE PREVIOUS MULTIPLE TIMES OVER - have capitulated in a fashion that no manager can plan for.

Ancelloti managed the last 15 minutes poorly , making similar mistakes to the Brighton game. He is as culpable as the players for last nights tail end shenanigans.
Moyes was pilloried for making exactly the same sort of decisions during his time here, and rightly so.

D'you know what i think he;s doing? I think he's setting these chumps a test each week seeing how their nerve holds ou: eho sinks and who swims.

I applaud that. We need to see him experiment until the end of the season. He needs to separate the wheat from the chaff.
