I think with the squad he currently has at his disposal when you consider fitness levels, injuries etc, he is managing this group very well, he will be assessing through to the end of this season everyone at his disposal, not just their talent, fitness but also their characters and who will be accompanying him on his own Everton journey.Excellent return points wise so far, although as has been said,Dunc started the "process", but I for one am made up we have a "proper"top drawer manager at the helm.

Brilliant from Carlo though: the way he keeps on saying there's "quality" in this squad...kidding them up so they think they still have a future here.

I think it is because they are in awe of him knowing his experience. They know he is a top manager so they won't or should not need to question his tactics or the like........they just do it. Previous managers probably had most of the players believing there Mothers could do a better job. All down to belief in the manager.

As I said before, there’s no hiding place for these players now. If you don’t want to play for Ancelotti you shouldn’t be playing football. He’s won it all and is one of the greatest ever.

We're all made up by the come back today but we can't look beyond how grim that performance was. Massive changes needed and as I've said on many occasions no one should judge Ancelotti between now and May. We are going to put in some shocking performances and it's not his fault.

Many of the players have already shown that they're far from what we need and will continue to lack the quality we will,

So, as the old saying goes: you can't polish a turd. However, to be fair to Carlo he is definitely giving it a good go, therefore perhaps the stink will go quicker.
