I'll be shocked if we go unbeaten. Defo losing the derby and at least one of Chelsea/Leicester/Spurs
If we achieve that we’ll be sitting in 4th

Cant see us achieving those results...but those are the numbers i see as possible.

I think if we did get 15pts from the next 7 games we'd still be just behind Chelsea...

Even if Chelsea lose their game in hand they would only need 10pts from 7 matches to be level with us based on my projections.

Thats why for 4th we would need to be picking up 2 points per game for almost the rest of the season.

TABLE SINCE SILVA LEFT

Ridiculous Moshiri needs to have a long look at himself, had he sacked Silva after we lost to Sheffield United at home, we'd probably be a few points from the top 4 or in the top 4. This really was a wasted chance to get into the top 4, with Chelsea having a transfer ban, United being rubbish, Spurs being average and Arsenal being poor. Losing points against teams like Newcastle, Leicester, Arsenal, Palace, Norwich and Brighton have really cost us.

Not with Moyes as manager we wouldnt.

Only one problem with that. Ancelloti was not available then.

Ridiculous that you chat poo

The thing about pragmatic/counter-attacking footy is that it is often unpredictable. You can game plan and study the tape for tippy tappy triangle footy. You have to be absolutely perfect to make that work against some of the teams in this league (even City have struggled a bit this year).

It’s hard to prepare for random long balls and effort. It’s why Mourinho has those champions league titles under his belt. It’s why Carlo has done so well. He is versatile.

Arsenal 3pts
United 3pts
Chelsea 3pts
RS 1pt
Norwich 3pts
Leicester 1pt
Spurs 1pt

7 games = 15pts

If we can achieve close to that we'll be on Chelseas tail...

did you see Chelsea fixture? I see them dropping lots of points along the way. If we beat them, the door is wide open.

Just a few quick points
How would the lads on here who voted for Brexit feel if Carlo is banished because he’s one of them forens who came over to England to take English jobs @Joey66 and @peteblue
If we get EL I can see Moshiri and Usmanov doing a bit of creative accounting to boost our summer spending for Carlo
The man is working miracles with a squad put together by Moyes , Martinez,Koeman , Allardyce ( spits ) and Silva
Give him 2 years with a squad of 75 % of his own players plus DCL Ricarlison Kean Holgate , Digne , Bernard and maybe Pickford and see what magic he will do
Players know now if the don’t cut the mustard they are gone , no one not the board ,not Marcel and especially not the true evertonian fans ( that excludes a few on here ) will back them over Carlo
Enjoy Carlo while we can because unless we become CL regulars in a new stadium it’s all downhill manager wise when he goes

In recent years when we´ve been on a good run it is usually followed by a big bottle job. These fixtures give the perfect excuse for that to take place. It´d be nice to think things will change but we are going against some quite incredible history here.

6 points at grounds we haven´t won at this millennium. A point against a Liverpool team that has only dropped two all season. If we come out of the next 4 games with more than 3 points I will be pleasantly surprised. If we come out with 6 then I will be absolutely shocked to the point that thinking Carlo could actually be THE man.

Sure Martinez went back to back seasons without breaching 50 points, if memory serves me right he had the likes of Lukaku, Stones, Deulofeu, Barkley, a younger Baines Jagielka and Coleman, Barry and McCarthy to call upon. Pound for pound, squad for squad he was our worst ever manager.
His second and third seasons were worse than what Allardyce served up points wise
