Love this guy & his honesty which will only make us a better team.

Lose like that with Silva, Koeman or Martinez and they would focus on the positives of “nearly” scoring a few times & playing well. Carlo just reiterates we defended poorly & it is not good enough, nearly scoring doesn’t mean anything in a loss.

Cant wait for his chance to clear out some dross & build his own team

That's five points we've dropped this season to a poor Arsenal side. Or, five points Arsenal has picked up from a poor Everton side. Either way, we got exactly what we deserved from the game... nothing.

Thought I'd go with Andre Gomes for MotM. He played some decent passes, shrugged off a few tackles, and didn't go missing; picking up a stupid yellow was the only downside. Fantastic to see playing for us again.

We got steamrolled in midfield and on the wings but that's the players' fault more than Carlo. We had a good first 20 minutes and last 15, but fell totally behind at times. 45 to 70 minutes was a nightmare. We need more focus and guile, like. I like his comments post-match. Good effort, we'd win this game 7 out of 10 times if we play with the same quality as today.
Arsenal had about 24 hours preparation to play that game. I doubt they even trained.

It was pitiful to take nothing from that game.

Never mind a top team, Wolves would have hounded and then passed that lot off the pitch and run out handy winners.

This lot are utter cowards who fail time and time (and time and time) again to stay focussed and play with confidence.

Posted in the wrong thread. This was meant for the 'Match Day' thread ffs. What I meant to say in this thread was... "GTF out of our club Ancelotti you utter fraud"! lol

I do agree with most of these sentiments, just maybe not in such a scathing, classic davek manner :)

As mentioned, if we just had a bit more fight and panache we'd win this 6-1.

I blame Gylfi and Iwobi as well as the back line. Terrible defending everywhere. Pickford had no chance. But ultimately we would have taken this if DCL just had the composure to finish his 2nd half chances

I cant believe anyone salvages anything from that. We lost by the odd goal in 5 - big deal. Arsenal were there for the taking and we saw this lot (again) bottle it.

What’s with all the rotation? Even if we’d won today I think he would of rotated for the next game, I know it’s quite common now days for managers to do so but I don’t get it especially when they’ve just had a break (not resting players) Bernard needs to be starting and I’m sure I’m not only one who’l say that

Wolves would have won about 4-0 there today

Ive said it before too many players in that team who know they wont be here in 6-18 months time so put in half arsed performances unless its at GP where they can't get away with it with our baying fans.

Delph - no interest since leaving City
Schneiderlin - knows he's gone soon
Gylfi - knows 442 doesnt suit him
Iwobi - utterly garbage
Kean - utterly garbage
Sidibe - seems in his own world
DCL - not good enough to start if we want Europe
Pickford - heads up his backside atm

Just too many players who are not chomping at the bit.

We'll slip up against Utd next week but then probably beat Chelsea when hopes of Europe have gone as they dont care.
