It was also good to hear him say the dna of the club is to fight. All the managers we've had have missed that but Carlo's been here like 5 minutes due to the 3 month pause and he already understands it.

Is it too much to expect these flumps we have on the books to be motivated.

this is my concern when you sign players from better and bigger clubs such as Gomes, Mina, Delph etc....are they really going to be motivated moving to a middle of the table piss poor outfit like Everton who haven’t won anything in nearly 3 decades? So when we are linked with the likes of Allan, is it not going to be the same?

It is possible to show fight even while losing
It’s possible to show some effort and commitment and desire even when 2-0 down or without fans there
What else do they need for motivation?
