he could be at Arsenal right now with the fans on top of him already and similar spending restraints. He could be at PSG again knowing that if he doesn’t win the CL he’s out. Perhaps another spin at Juve or maybe Barcelona this time where it would be exactly the same scenario. Fan bases hankering for a manager from their past wanting to see Pep’s football, Conte’s football or Heynke’s football, only happy to put up with Carlo as long as he won absolutely everything. At Everton he had time to work, reasonable expectations from the fans and board room and he’ll have the adoration of the fans as long as he keeps progressing. He’s arguably not had that for a long time.

Yeah compared to his other jobs this is a walk in the park.

I give him a month till he deletes twitter tho.

So we should.

Spend big on a creative player , really push that ambition out there for a proven creator that fits into the team and the rest of the attack falls into place.

We can cheap out on other parts of the team in the short term but a creative player is top priority. The difference that would make to us is unreal.

The whole squad should be looking to better themselves as individuals and a team...only way forward for sustained improvement.

We'll need to get the best out of the players we've got and build from there.

3 first team players will make a big difference. Must be 2 centre midfielders and probably right sided midfielder.

Just 2-3 players would make a big difference

proper midfielders - who can actually play first choice - will make Gomes play to his best all the time, Davies learn, and JP / Delph question how they can fight for their places (or leave)
Another CB or RB
A back up goalie who can definitely challenge Pickford.
RW to push Walcott harder or out

Just a few players can make the others work really hard and not take their performance and place for granted
 

Really excited going into this new window with Carlo and hope he gets the players he wants.

Looking forward to see what Carlos Everton looks like.
